Based in the UK pianist and composer Carolyn Hume is a member of the duo Hume and May with drummer Paul May as well as being a solo artist.

Her current work includes being a member of ‘Fourth Page’ with Paul May and Charlie Beresford and her long standing duo with Paul May.

She he has played and recorded with many artists,crossing genres from prog rock to classical and free improvisation. She has performed in Europe and Internationally, with radio play worldwide, and has provided music for short films.

Carolyn has worked and recorded with many artists including: Paul May, Charlie Beresford, Pete Marsh, Judie Tzuke, Patrick Dawes, Sonia Hammond, Oliver Coates, Duke Garwood, Russell Webb, John McGeoch, Kuljit Bhamra and Essam Rashad…

Since the late 90’s, Hume has recorded two solo records with composition for voice and cello, and six duo records with Paul May on ‘Leo Records’ and many more as a member or guest of ensemble groups.
